Hypno-Ki* is a brand new, extremely spiritual therapy that I have personally developed over time, with my growing attunement and experience with Reiki healing. This is as far as I know a completely unique therapy and solely available to my practice.
When you receive Reiki - by the laying on of hands by the healer over each Chakra- we are aiming to aid the client balance each of the energy centres or energize them in order to facilitate a boost in the body's own immune system. This in turn seems to bring about tangible relief to any physical, mental or emotional afflictions from which you may be suffering.
Some Reiki healers reportedly will aim to produce the healing by 'getting out of the way' and allowing God** to provide spiritual energy and re balancing. Some healers appear to use their own energy to connect with the client for healing.
**(I use the term God to mean the creative force of the Universe rather than any Religious figure or Idol. I am myself a-religious but have a strong personal faith in a force greater and more powerful than myself)
In my usual Reiki practice my intention is to pray and use mantra in order for the client to return to their natural state of perfection whilst connecting my physical energy to theirs in order to attune and boost the 2 body's immune systems. I am meditating and praying in silence over the client and although they do not hear my words and positive intentions the client will be picking up my positive energy on a subconscious level, I feel.
With Hypno-Ki* I use the power of this prayer and mantra with the increased spoken energy of the physical vibration of words and suggestion that I believe can prove so powerful and life changing in hypnotherapy. The vibration of the spoken word provides, I feel, an additional healing effect. The compounding of positive intention and seeding of ideas of complete health and happiness are then used to enhance the therapy. There is finally some creative visualization that the client will perform whist deeply relaxed, as the 'critical factor' of the mind bypassed. It is this bypassing of the mind's protective 'gatekeeper' or critical factor that is thought to be very important in traditional hypnotherapy.
I believe the client, although still thoroughly relaxed, is then able to feel involved in a meaningful and spiritual way which further increases the strength of the session and the beneficial empowerment of the client.
